Transmission Fluid

A lot of variety exists in automatic transmission fluid (ATF) recommendations, but your owner's manual will help you sort through the different types. Although ATF has some of the same properties and lubricating qualities of motor oil, the various types are identified by different names instead of service classifications and viscosity numbers.
